WasteWise and Secure Pay One: Good News for the Environment
Secure Pay One wants its partners and neighbors to know what it's doing to protect the environment and reduce solid waste.
A fundamental part of Secure Pay One's commitment to the environment includes participation in the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) innovative WasteWise program, the country's first national voluntary solid waste reduction program. WasteWise encourages organizations to reduce municipal solid waste through waste prevention, recycling and buying or manufacturing recycled products. WasteWise partners have saved thousands, even millions of dollars in purchasing costs and waste disposal fees by reducing, reusing, and recycling solid waste materials.
Secure Pay One assists property investors and property managers to facilitate their billing process through the use of a sophisticated rent payment system while decreasing the amount of paper used on a monthly basis.
Secure Pay One works with its customers to reduce the amount of paper used in the billing process, while also instituting ways for clients to lower their carbon footprint when setting up options such as their reminder system.
As part of Secure Pay One's participation in WasteWise, the initiated programs will build on the successes of already established waste prevention and recycling efforts. A major thrust of WasteWise is waste prevention-actions that minimize or eliminate the generation of waste before it is created—with the goal of decreasing the amount of material that must be recycled or thrown away.
Through WasteWise, Secure Pay One plans to start a campaign to sign up five new businesses committed to endorsing WasteWise. Participation in WasteWise will help reduce unnecessary costs and demonstrates Secure Pay One's commitment to preserve natural resources and protect the environment.
The WasteWise program has a broad and varied membership that reflects the makeup of Corporate America. Since 1994, more than 1,100 organizations have joined WasteWise, demonstrating their leadership in finding cost-effective ways to reduce waste. WasteWise partners include many of the country's leading manufacturers, retailers and service firms, spanning more than 50 different industry sectors. The program also services federal, state and local governments, tribes and other non-corporate institutions.
Joining WasteWise is another example of Secure Pay One's continued commitment to improving our environment. For more information on our WasteWise plans, contact Secure Pay One at 1-847-431-3300 or email@example.com.
